viewautomotive.net – A 64 -year-old Eastpointe man has been sentenced to one year in jail for selling imitation automobile assurance credentials.

Hakeem Sanusi pleaded no tournament to six countings of the assurances impostor as a habitual delinquent. He was sentenced on Thursday, according to Secretary of State Ruth Johnson and Eaton County Prosecutor Doug Lloyd.

The secretary of state has put a focus on cracking down on the impostor.

Sanusi was arrested in September after the secretary of state faculty suspected clients had sent in imitation assurance credentials to restore their registration plate tabs.
